New boots

In to Just Tyres this morning for a new pair of rear tyres , the old
ones had flat spots that caused really bad vibrations. Surprised to
find inner tubes. Great staff(one a lotus owner)

Bedfordshire Classic Car Show

Some more pictures from the Bedfordshire Classic car show and Old Warden this year, it was great to be asked to bring the car into the ring for all to see, despite the rain it was a great first offical outing, the drive was faultless except for a wobble at around 55mph which i suspect may be a flat spot on the tyres .

Pleased to see John with his Karman Ghia, Tracy with her Spitfire and Gerrard ace filmaker.

A fine run out on a fine day

Having replaced the distributor cap, rotar , points & capacitor and
after a bit of tweeking the car runs well achieving 60mph with ease.
Looking forward to the bedfordshire classic car show next week.

New rotor

Why do new parts look so ugly compared to the Lucas rotar arm , the
new one looks rubbish. Does work well though

Lotus six

After a run round the block, I have worked out most of the lotus sixes
switches.

Bank holiday

Hope to get over to the Bedfordshire classic car show over the bank
holiday, first I will have to work out the misfire that I'm getting .
Have ordered a new distributor cap, points, rotor arm in the hope that
is all that's needed.

Lotus club show

Went along to the show on Saturday , saw some amazing cars and the
lotus racing truck. Only saw one six and one seven ( very
disappointing ) the car park was full of front wheel drive Elans and
Elises. Perhaps Sixes and Sevens don't get out much , or they have
another club.

First time trying to get her to start

Spent some time getting her to start, hence the can of easy start,
fitted new plugs and hey presto
